I was homeless and was referred to Victory Housing. Victory Housing made me feel hopeful.  I was given a support worker and was offered a self-building course which I had completed.  I was given the opportunity to go to the seaside.  Victory Housing was able to secure funding for me which covered my rent and my food.

The journey that I am on I am thankful to Victory Housing for being a part of it.  Victory Housing was there in the time of my need.  The hope that they gave me helped me to begin being independent again.  They were helpful as they went out of their way/went the extra mile to reassure me that I can be independent again.  They were patient with me at times.

They made me feel safe.  They built up my courage.  As where I was before, Victory Housing helped me to have the courage to leave the situation, I was in.

I have a sense of gratitude towards them.

I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all you have done for me. I really don't know how things would have gone for me without your help because things happened that I went through for the first time. Thank you again for everything.

Victory Housing has helped me a great deal. I still have a little way to go, but with continued support I will get there.

I was homeless and when Victory housed me, I was given the chance to get back on my feet. If it wasn’t for Victory Housing, I will still be homeless.

Victory supported me through the process to get out of debt and I am now DEBT FREE.

My support worker assisted in reading and explaining letters I didn’t understand, and I was I now feel I am in a better position to move into permanent accommodation and start doing things for myself, and my support worker is helping me to do this.

I am very grateful for everything Victory Housing have done for me and continue to do for me.

I became a stronger woman during my time at Victory Housing. I found love and self determination. I was given permission to focus on my health. Colette, Diane and Rhianne were all very encouraging and it was the first time since leaving refuge I felt as if I had a mother figure in my life, looking out for me and my safety. Thank you Victory Housing for keeping me alive.

Thank you for giving me the time I needed to write some poetry and share it with those who needed it most.

I will never forget the year and 7 months I rested under the sky light, in the room facing the garden.

Hope to meet you all again when things level out.
